SHARPENED FOR BUTCHERS
From the Christmas order to the cutting bench.
Take meat preorders online, collect a deposit and give your team the quantities to prepare. Reconcile the final price once each cut has been weighed.
Butchers / Australian owned & operatedBUILT FOR THE BUTCHER’S COUNTER
The order comes first. The exact weight comes later.
A customer can reserve a ham before you know its final weight. A turkey breast might be sold plain, stuffed or in a hamper. Sharpened connects those details to the order, the stock and the preparation list.
Open the festive range
Set up the season’s products, payment rules and collection days. Offer fixed deposits, percentage deposits or full payment.
Prepare from the cut list
Bring product quantities and weights together for the team. Shared inventory pools connect cuts, prepared products and hampers.
Weigh, reconcile, hand over
Record final weights, reconcile the price and organise collection with run sheets and individual or batch order reports.
IN PRACTICE
One ham. The final figures.
A deposit secures the order. Once the ham is weighed, the final price and remaining balance can be reconciled.
| Order detail | Amount |
|---|---|
| Whole leg ham | 5.2 kg |
| Price per kilogram | $28.00 |
| Final order total | $145.60 |
| Deposit already paid | − $45.00 |
| Remaining balance | $100.60 |
The paperwork should follow the work.
Use the report that suits the preparation bench or collection counter, with sorting, filtering and last-printed filtering.
BEFORE WE TALK
A few practical questions.
Can customers pay a deposit on a Christmas ham?
Yes. Set a fixed amount or percentage deposit, or take full payment. Products sold by weight support final price reconciliation after weighing.
Can hampers and individual products share stock?
Yes. Shared product pools connect different selling formats to the same inventory, including weight-based products and hamper-style products.
Can we reuse our Christmas setup?
Yes. Duplicate the season with its settings carried over, then update the range and collection dates for the next campaign.
Does Sharpened connect to Wedderburn?
Wedderburn integration is planned for early 2027. It is a roadmap item, alongside SMS notifications and remote order-label printing.
